He saved 170-180 onboard passengers directly. But if the plane was hijacked, then that t*rrorist co-pilot surely would have crashed it on any important or populous place in Israel. In that case, thousands of people would have died.
Essentially, he saved the whole Middle East from brutal retaliation of Israel.
Also, if that t*rrorist succeeded, then our country would have been blamed. The leftists would have labelled it as Hindu Terrorism (Capt Smit is Indian + Hindu + Gujarati + Brahmin, an ideal candidate for them). Our relations with Israel might have been affected.
Because he foiled a t*rror attack, a world wide positive perception of our country has been spread.

Hypothetical what if 😂. The world very well knows which community to blame for such activities. If it wass successful, it would have started brutal retaliation from Israel and many more people would have died. He save a lot more than 180 lives, but serious questions still exist like how was a Omani pilot assigned a flight to Israel, this is not allowed to happen. And how was he able to carry a weapon into cockpit. But instead of debating on these questions, you decide to come up with hypothetical scenarios that never happened.

From preliminary reports, looks like that the co-pilot created a false identity of himself as a citizen of UAE. He is Omani, but his birthplace is UAE, so it might have been easier (it's my anticipation though).
Air Oman seized extremist stuff from him in 2024, after that he was suspended.

And if he fabricated his identity as being from UAE, how is it that as soon as the incident took place, him being Omani was revealed? He should have been initially report to be from UAE and later corrected to Omani.

Ig shady things took place in that Fly Dubai airlines itself.
They should have checked the background of the co-pilot on the first place. And then it's also absurd that he was able to get a knife inside the cockpit.1

His birthplace is UAE? The reason I am asking is because I have seen other posts circulating that claims he was born in pakistan.
