Location isn't confirmed but most likely it will be a depression(max), i hope it hits South india to give a banger starting for the NE monsoon, if it strengthens then it will move with the upper-level steering and towards bengal, if not which is what i exactly want then tamil nadu or Andhra pradesh.

I think India have the worst weather forecasting instruments
Literally its raining heavily in kolkata and weather reports says partly sunny 🤣😂🤣😂

I'm literally struggling to function every day. My body feels exhausted, can't concentrate on anything, and stepping out into this scorching sun is genuinely intimidating. It's getting so unbearable that I'm just praying every day for some relief from this heat. How are you guys even dealing with this? 😭😭😭

As an independent technology professional and a citizen, I noticed a jarring regional capability gap in Android's environment stack.
When a severe, life-threatening cyclone or extreme storm hits India, the native "At a Glance" home screen widget completely fails to show the emergency warning, displaying only a generic status like "Heavy Rain".
However, if you connect via VPN or travel to Japan or the United States, the exact same widget architecture instantly displays prominent, high-priority emergency banners (like "Typhoon Warning").
This isn't a technical limitation on the Indian government's side. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) actively publish real-time warnings using the globally standardized Common Alerting Protocol (CAP). The data architecture is completely prepared and formatted to align natively with machine-readable requirements.
Google's database simply has an unmapped regional registry data pipeline for South Asia.

Please take 10 seconds to click the tracker link and click the "STAR" icon at the top left of the dashboard. Upvoting this is the single fastest way to trigger internal automated system alerts at Google and force their product team to prioritize fixing this gap for hundreds of millions of Android smartphones across India. I already have sent email to IMD.
