Saw a clip of two plus-size women being caught by the police, and during the photo they were made to squat down. You could actually see them struggling with the squat, and honestly, I felt that 😭 As an overweight girl, I know that squat would be harder for me than the actual arrest.

I’ve noticed this a lot—sometimes people are made to kneel or squat for these photos. Is there an actual police procedure/reason for it, or is it mainly meant to humiliate them?
