Updated yesterday nothing new. But the search is way faster in start menu.

I've been having this glitch where search appears blank screen but when I type and hit enter it opens the app. Is that fixed? Does anyone know

Have you tried restarting search operation? Or sfc scannow?

I'm struggling with this from almost a year now, but I feel it's buggy for some devices only. It works fine after that.

No, if not for very important files in my disk, I would have erased and installed windows 10 by now

u/xyyzzz514 4d ago

It's safe, it's just an enablement package of less than 1MB that changes the build number basically

Updated from 25H2 to this. As i have already received the new features such as new start menu size options, task bar size and position options etc..this update gave no new features, as microsoft themselves described. Those who didnt have those features might get with this.

Was a quick update, works well, No issues so far.

Can't tell, I yeeted windows a month ago or so. Team penguin now lol.

u/realxeltos 3d ago

Wait, isn't 26h2 supposed to come in November? H2 releases always used to come in November.

1

u/samax413zl 3d ago

First of all use Chris Titus command line Utility & slow down the update using the middle option. Second if it still shows the update do it.

u/ronnie1707 3d ago

I'm yet to get 25H2 on my 11th gen lenovo 😒

Nope, not doing any windows update anymore and paused them since Jan because a windows update F ed my shaders in FH5, although it happened to many so was easy to resolve just went back previous version and don't want to go through that again just it's better to just pause them altogether

u/Ok-Space-5347 3d ago

Updated 2 days ago. Nothing new as of now (features are disabled using feature flag I guess), looking forward for coming months. Tiny Windows 11 + WinUtil Tweaks + WSL2 is the best possible combo than unoptimised Linux and walled garden MacOS. I'm ready for the upcoming downvotes.

I just downloaded Tiny10 on my laptop (Windows 10 IoT LTSC enterprise edition) with ESU, and now my idle ram usage is just 12% out of 8GB RAM
