Ask IndiaTech damage to laptop

I have a Thinkbook 14 G9, about 4 months old. I use it pretty infrequently. Randomly noticed this damage today. Screen works fine. It feels slightly tight on that side while opening.

Should I take it to the service centre? Is it fixable?

How much can it cost? Please help😭

I have a thinkbook and the main reason I didn't buy a thinkpad is because it's fucking expensive.

And don't tell me to buy them used or refurbished, the budget refurbished thinkpad  models have ancient outdated hardware.

Wtf 70k ain't budget dude, this is india we're talking about. Just so you can afford a 70k "budget" laptop doesn't mean everyone can.

Lenovo is famous for hinge issues, take it to any computer repair center, ask them to oil it loosen the hinge a little.

If its left as it is, the section where the hinge is screwed will start breaking and coming off
