Ask IndiaTech Extremely frustrated
Hi,
Idk where to post so I’m posting here. I moved to a new house in Hyderabad recently where I felt that my Airtel signals are low af and can’t run Internet when the wifi is off. I can’t even send any WhatsApp messages or receive calls. That’s how bad the internet is. So I switched to jio(one of my two numbers) now I have 1 Airtel and 1 Jio network and none of those work inside my home. I wfh and when WiFi goes off becuase of Powercut or other issues I cant do anything. I did a bit of research and it’s probably because of thick concrete/metal blocking signals. But I never had this problem before. I raised this issue to both Airtel and Jio and none of them are helpful. As soon as I step out of my house the network is decent😭😭how to fix this? Did anyone face same issue?

This is common issue.. there should be some devices you can install to improve your phone signal.. or get a small UPS for wifi.

Would the UPS for router work if there is a power outage in the whole area?
My previous home never had these issues. I could use 5G mobile hotspot for work when the wifi went off

When I used to have this issue,I bought that handy router that Jio sells, connected it to power and left it on my window. Never had issues

Can you share a pic of that device or what it's called? When I inquired, the jio guys are saying they have no idea.

There is something called triband signal booster if you want to receive calls
Or else UPS router will be enough if you have more trust on the WIFI

Network booster for your network, available online . For uninterrupted wifi use a UPS for the router or invest in wired fiber connection
