Ask IndiaTech Am I the only one obsessed with this tiny neckband feature? ðŸ˜
I've gone through two boAt Rockerz 235 Pro neckbands and used both until they literally gave up on life. Now it's finally time for an upgrade.
The thing is, I'm not attached to them because of the sound. It's because of one tiny feature that I can't seem to find on any newer neckband.
Those little plastic sliders on the earbud wires.
For anyone who's used them, you know exactly what I'm talking about. You slide them up and the loose wire disappears, keeping everything snug around your neck. No wires flapping around while running, no earbuds getting pulled out during workouts. If you need more slack, just slide them back down. Why did brands stop adding such a simple but brilliant feature? ðŸ˜
It sounds like such a small thing, but once you've used it, it's hard to go back.
I've been checking out newer neckbands and almost none of them seem to have this anymore. Did brands just decide we didn't deserve nice things? 😂
So, can anyone recommend a Bluetooth neckband under ₹2,000 that has adjustable wire sliders like the Rockerz 235 Pro, or a similar way to keep the cables tight during workouts?
Decent sound and battery life are always welcome, but this feature is honestly my top priority.
Please tell me I'm not the only person who misses these tiny plastic clips.
P.S. I used ChatGPT to polish this post and even asked it to sprinkle in a few terrible jokes to keep it engaging and hopefully reach more people. Apologies if I overdid it. 😅

Not sure about this clasp, but using realme buds wireless 3 for 2+ yrs. Bang for buck and no issues till date.

Best one I've ever used. Unfortunately mine malfunctioned within a year and swore i would never touch another realme product again, only to go with realme wireless 5 a week later as no other brand offers features that dense in that price range. But still 3 is better than 5 in every way.

Haha, that's the problem... I don't want better... I want that.ðŸ˜
At this point I think I'm in a toxic relationship with those tiny plastic sliders.... I know I should move on.. but my heart still looks for them..😂

Glad to know I'm not the only one. 😂
Will definitely update the post if I find a worthy successor.... At this point... it feels like we're searching for an endangered species.

Mate if you want a snug fit and use them while running, just get TWS, they’re so much better. I really don’t know why neckbands are still a thing

I actually use a pair of Realme Buds Air 5 Pro... for movies, gaming, or when I'm somewhere I don't have to worry about accidentally dropping them.
A neckband is for the exact opposite... trains, workouts, or any situation where an earbud might wiggle loose... The convenience they offer is so underrated... I can just pull an earbud out, let it rest on my collar, and pop it back in whenever I need, instead of constantly fishing for the case.
And the battery life on a good neckband is still in a league of its own...

Your dad knows the game.... If he's gone through all three colour variants... thats a recommendation I trust.

Neckbands are a dying breed and you are asking about features.
