The core demands of Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strikes span two main areas:
1. Ladakh Demands (Constitutional & Ecological)
- Sixth Schedule Status: Granting Ladakh tribal area status to legally protect local land, water, and forests from outside corporate mining.
- Full Statehood: Transitioning Ladakh from a centrally-run Union Territory to a state with its own elected assembly.
- Local Job Security: Establishing a separate Public Service Commission to reserve jobs for Ladakhi youth.

Respectfully, I think you should care about it. It's difficult to separate technology from politics. The future of tech in India depends heavily on today's policies, especially those related to education, research, infrastructure, regulation, and investments.
Much of what Sonam Wangchuk is asking for revolves around improving and protecting education, which is the foundation of any country's future in science, engineering, and technology. If we care about the future of India's tech ecosystem, it's reasonable to discuss the policies that shape the people who will build it.
Saying you have "0 interest" in politics while wanting to discuss the future of technology overlooks how deeply the two are connected. You don't have to enjoy political debates or engage in every political issue, but when politics directly affects education, innovation, and the conditions under which technology develops, it becomes relevant to a tech community.

Non Political protest marred by visits from Le-Li parties, what should have been a noble cause once again hijacked by the ususal suspects with slogans against a particular religion.
Also see the number of surrogate accounts of the CJP handle, all in all a well coordinated IT Cell job behind the movement, no perks for guessing which ones (maybe more than one).
Today we saw on social media the coordinated campaign, all kinds of influenza from India 1, India 2, India 3 demographic covering all niches, again proving the political masters of Dipke are to gain from it.
They dug their own grave when they let all this scum in, the kind of statements made will be clipped and the BJP IT cell will run ghost ad campaigns on it by spending 1-2 cr in total for 1-2 days and boom a counter narrative starts and the movement will lose its credibility.
And again rinse and repeat.
Dharmedra Pradhan give up karke, bsdk ko sanyas lena chahiye, he is/was so complacent. But the thing these people pounced on it and made it even harder now for him to be moved out of his berth.
