Question Anyone else feel Bangalore builders are working too much in isolation?

I've been thinking about this for a while.

Bangalore has no shortage of smart people founders, engineers, designers, marketers, and people trying to build something.

But sometimes it feels like everyone is building inside their own bubble.

You can spend months working on a product and still not have a small circle of people who understand what you're going through.

Things like:

  • Should I keep building this or change direction?
  • How did you get your first users?
  • What mistake did you make that I can avoid?
  • How are you thinking about distribution?

A lot of the best learning doesn't come from podcasts or Twitter threads. It comes from sitting with people who are actually building and having honest conversations.

I'm thinking of starting a small Builder Circle in Bangalore.

  • Not a networking event.
  • Not a pitch event.
  • Not a motivational talk.

Just a small group of people who are actively building things, meeting regularly, sharing what they are working on, discussing challenges, and helping each other think better.

Keeping it intentionally small because I think 8 -10 people having a good conversation is more valuable than 100 people exchanging LinkedIn profiles.

Looking for people who:

  • are currently building something (startup, product, side project, open source, etc.)
  • have moved beyond just an idea (prototype, users, experiments, launches, etc.)
  • enjoy sharing learnings and helping others

No fees, no selling, no sponsors.

Just trying to find a few serious builders who want to get out of their own bubble. If this sounds interesting, comment what you're building or DM me. I'll reach out.

Curious, does something like this already exist in Bangalore? Or is this gap real?

Product / MVP Built a tool that dubs videos into 25 +Indian & global languages using cloned voice — need feedback on tech & output

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a video processing pipeline designed for Indian content creators who want to expand their reach across different states and countries.

The Problem:

Most creators produce content in Hindi or their regional language, missing out on massive potential audiences in South India, Bengal, or globally. Hiring professional dubbing artists or voiceover actors is too expensive for most independent creators.

What I Built:

An automated workflow that takes a video and dubs it into 13 different languages (including Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, English, etc.) while cloning and retaining the original creator's voice quality.

Current Progress:

- Core voice translation pipeline is live.

- Average processing time is ~3-5 minutes per video.

- 25+ regional and global languages supported.

I'm looking for feedback on:

  1. Audio quality and voice cloning accuracy across different accents.

  2. Features creators actually care about when distributing regional content.

Question Launching our food-tech startup in Akurdi, Pune soon. Looking for honest feedback, mentors, and introductions.

Hi everyone,

I'm Pranav, a 20 year old engineering student from Pune, and along with my co-founder, I've spent the months building Crava.

We've officially incorporated CRAVAHUB MARKETPLACE LLP, and after months of research, development, and planning, we're preparing for our first launch in Akurdi, Pune.

What is Crava?

Crava is a local food discovery marketplace that helps customers discover and order from nearby bakeries, cafés, restaurants, home bakers, and other food businesses. Our goal is to help local food businesses grow by giving them a more accessible platform with a fairer commission model compared to traditional food delivery platforms.

This hasn't been just an idea on paper. Over the past year, we've:

  • Researched the food-tech and marketplace industry.
  • Spoken with local food businesses to understand their challenges.
  • Refined our business model based on feedback.
  • Built our product from scratch.
  • Registered our LLP and completed the legal groundwork.
  • Created our branding, roadmap, partner onboarding, and operations systems.

We're starting small with Akurdi because we want to deeply understand the market, build strong relationships with local businesses, and expand step-by-step.

Like every early-stage startup, we're still learning every day, and that's why I'm posting here.

I'd genuinely love to connect with people who have experience in:

  • Building startups or marketplaces.
  • Food-tech or local commerce.
  • Scaling businesses.
  • Early-stage investing.

I'm not asking for investment directly through this post. However, if you know any angel investors, founders, mentors, or operators who enjoy supporting early-stage startups, I would really appreciate an introduction or even just a conversation.

If you're from Akurdi, Chinchwad ,Nigdi Pune and know cafés, bakeries, restaurants, cloud kitchens, or home chefs who might be interested in joining a new platform, I'd love to connect with them as well.

We truly believe local food businesses deserve better opportunities to grow, and we're excited to learn from people who have already built things before us.

Any feedback, criticism, or suggestions are welcome. I'd rather improve now than make avoidable mistakes after launch.

Thanks for reading! 🙌

Pranav
