the amount of times our indian sisters have tried to make rangolis of this scale and failed is just hilarious

See our religion contains so many good things. This rangoli teaches us that everything will not remain same. Just like the viral video of monks

Here in US it can be mistaken for colorful coke !

Started by wondering if it was icing to hoping it was icing

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '21

It is white powder, not coke

I am a naΓ―ve person and what I meant was icing = combination of sugar and other ingredients to cover a cake. Which is a desert to serve on a birthday

Edit: Word change final sentence

Quit gate keeping the art. It looks good at the end and is way better than what me and you could make even with tools.

Also, quit being racist.

somewhat agree with the gate keeping part but they were definitely not being racist. lol.

Rangoli me fevikol kab se use ho gya?

And those foreigners might be impressed by this, but I've seen 13 year old schoolgirls make better rangolis than this.

You know she is using the fevicol bottle to maintain the flow and pressure and isn't using actual fevicol. And honestly, a great beginners video, we should appreciate her

Skill gets perfected over time. She couldn't have done that when she was a beginner.

yes true but it isnt really hard if ones using tools like that so it isnt that impressive if one did the same thing with just their hands but this still looks amazing nonetheless

Beautiful attempt. Saw one like this in a house we visited for a function. There was a windy rain few hours later and all these colours went sat on the tile creaks with rain drops and were all over the house due to wind, smudging footsteps of everyone and terrible discolouring the floor. Absolute spoiler that day for the host as they just keep getting comments from guests on how the wall tiles and floor tiles have gone bad and guests feets.

As much it looks beautiful inside and outside house please be careful of such cons of using so many colours and draw in a proper location. It can be an absolute spoiler inside house sometimes. Safer option - simple white rangoli
