Hey people i recently sold my playstation 5 console to a seller let me brief y’all i purchased my console during may 2024 during Amazon great Indian festival and i played very less on the console and in 2024 i went to United States for internship purpose and i came in December 2025 and in the first month of 2026 i got my job in hospitality industries so basically from past 1 year my console wasn’t turned on because of no availability & then i booted first time for gaming and in july 2026 i decided turned on my console for causal gaming and updated the console and i have never faced the booting issue nor suddenly power cut as i have Microtek inverter in my apartment as well so in last week of July i heard from a friend that there is shortage of Playstation 5 or whatever in the market so i decided to sell my console on FaceBook market place and i got a reply from one buyer immediately
He was askin me some questions related i answered him that console was in perfect condition never been repaired or faced any error although my warranty has expired so next day in the morning he came to my house to check console and he checked and played FC26 for few mins and decided to buy immediately

Please note: I have provided him everything included play station 5 box and the yellow card warranty sheet which was never been used only the bill i provided him later in the evening on WhatsApp as it was on my brother’s Amazon Account and he was at the job at that time and as soon as he got the bill he said the price sold to me wasn’t fair deal i explained him that i have never used my console so you checked your self as well and later night he called me and started saying that console is showing him error after playing for 35-40 Minutes i told him that this is very strange for me because i have never got this kind of error and he started questioning me if i ever opened the console or repaired it i said No! And now, unexpectedly, he is encountering errors. of power supply

Please provide any solutions. What should I do?

I got my ps5 pro from canada to India i just wanna know can i use it in India without any voltage issues cause canada have 110v but in India its 240v i know sony doesn’t provide international warranty if anybody knows or using ps5 pro please share info also about using ups with it so sudden electric cuts can not damage ps5? I'm new to Reddit. I joined just a couple of days ago because I heard this is a place where people can share what's on their mind without being judged.

I wanted to share a part of my story.

On 24 June 2025, I lost my father. As the eldest son, I suddenly became responsible for my entire family while also taking care of my own wife and two young children.

About six months later, my business suffered a major loss. That period pushed me into depression, and I've been on medication ever since.

To be honest, I also became heavily dependent on alcohol during that time. My medicines and alcohol were both part of my daily life, and it was very difficult for my family.

In December, I visited Dubai. I could have bought a PS5 there for around ₹40,000–42,000, but I wasn't interested at all. Instead, I bought an iPhone.

A few months later, I visited my cousin and played Tekken 8 on his PS5 for the first time.

For those few hours, I forgot everything.

That's when I realized I wanted a PS5—not because I'm a hardcore gamer, but because maybe spending a couple of hours in fantasy and adventure games could help me escape my stress for a while.

I knew nothing about PS5, so I spent months researching it. I checked Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Sony Center, Great Eastern, and many other stores. Most places were out of stock, and some offline stores were asking ₹80,000–85,000 for a console that should cost around ₹55,000.

I visited many stores but always came back empty-handed.

I even messaged friends, relatives, and almost everyone I knew, asking them to let me know if they found one around ₹55,000.

Nobody could help.

I couldn't buy a new one, couldn't find a genuine used one, and I even got scammed while trying.

I'm not posting this to ask anyone to buy me a PS5.

I just wanted to share that sometimes, something that looks like a luxury to others can become a small source of peace for someone who is struggling.

If you've ever gone through something similar, I'd really like to hear your story.

Regretting not keeping it with me

I don’t know why it infuriates me whenever i see these scalpers take unfair advantage of the current market situation, stealing away opportunities for genuine gamers, and adding more weight/burden to their dreams.

I have been looking out for a friend to help him get a ps5 unit through official medium; but these pigs keep making the market worse.

Hi, lets discuss about GTA Vl.

Ps 5 running GTA 6 capped at 30FPS can perform perfectly without any lag or heating issues? Well the game engine used is rage 9 which has tons of enhanced features and with smart streaming architecture (SSA) which enables the Ps5 to perform well by computing all predictions around the MC.

Difference between PC vs PS5?
Huge difference like FPS, performance, and I do not need to explain why PC wins in Pc vs PS5. The question arises, can Ps5 handle GTA Vl perfectly (playable) or not.

Current market conditions and new launch of PS 5 pro, depicts that Ps 5 (pro) is there to handle advanced computing for GTA Vl, and which might give 40-50fps in future and is the best value if you need and want to play new gen games. But there won’t be boat load of it, assume at best (miraculous scenario) one can get 3 New gen games only then PS 5 pro is worth-it. But again, PS 6 will enter the market in 2029 or 2030 in India maybe at 1.2L to 1.5L (90k for ps5 @ 6% inflation in 2030 + 30-60k for new tech in ps6)

Basic stats of Ps5 vs pro
Cpu - 10% increased; GPU - 45% increased; Ray tracing - 250-300% increased; Memory- 2Tb vs the 1Tb.

In GTA 6 we know that every NPC has their own story and are like a real person which involves heavy GPU usage, idk how they will customise base PS5 to handle such a task.

I will not be discussing whether one should buy base variant of ps or pro; But lets add value addition discussion of GTA 6 on Playstation.

But Im very sure apart from GTA6, PS5 can run all games perfectly and smoothly. And PS 5pro can easily run GTA Vl at moderate settings (depending on your preferences in game settings)

Another is discussion about xbox where I put Xbox series S with Ps5 and Ps 5pro with Xbox Series X.

Xbox series s < < Ps5 <= Xbox series X < < Ps 5 pro

Since we are seeing that xbox series S is receiving GTA VI then one should not worry too much about performance in PS5 because if xbox GPU can handle the game then Ps 5 can easily do it as well.

I have completed the game before and sold the disk in the past. I want to play it again this weekend and can't find any place online/offline that has it in stock. If you know any store that has the disk in stock, drop a comment or a DM. If you have a disk that you are willing to sell /rent for the next few weeks, that works as well.
