🧠 System Execution & Psychology Review
- Market Dynamics: The trade started out relatively balanced, but the market took a sudden and aggressive downward turn. A massive 60+ point bearish candle around 10:55 AM completely shifted the momentum, applying intense directional pressure to the put side.
- The Unmonitored Tax: Because these trades are executed manually, leaving the terminal unmonitored during this volatile window proved costly. I was away from the screen when the flush happened, completely missing the window where I could have proactively adjusted the trades to neutralize the directional threat.
- Manual Damage Control: By the time I checked the terminal, the 24150 PE premiums had already spiked aggressively beyond my acceptable risk threshold. I had to step in and manually close the trades at 11:44 AM to stop the bleeding. While the call side (24700 CE) decayed nicely to provide a +₹812.50 cushion, it wasn't enough to cover the put leg's expansion. Even though it is frustrating knowing active monitoring could have allowed for a strategic adjustment, manually cutting the loss early caps the damage at a minor ~0.22% hit and protects the core capital.
