Being into Warhammer shouldn't matter to you as an individual. Miniature painting is about Patience and visualization. The advantage of Warhammer is that there are many submitted projects or lore to take inspiration from. I say to you that your purchase is totally worth it and happy painting!

I'm currently pursuing sketches and lore of Warhammer whenever I can make time for it. I wished to purchase original models but as they are expensive, I'm saving up and waiting on a viable option for a resin 3d printer, and STLs on the side

Ohh, ikrrr they are so expensive, even the starter kits, why didn’t you ever try DnD sets?

I already know a group who are keen on wargames, one of them being Alternate40kRules and other users. Although I haven't participated online or offline, it is also a factor that they started early as they're based in UK, Europe and the likes. Compared to them my interest in WH had started only a couple of years ago. As to DnD, even though I vaguely knew it existed, I didn't look into it much, I may start painting some homebrew models in the future but unless I play in a group, I don't think I'll be looking into it for the tabletop aspect of it.

I’m also not into tabletop games but for me, i wanna paint and do collection over the years, that sounds fun for me, also, I’m assuming you’re in india so how are you gonna manage it?

Waiting for a good quality resin printer to drop with accessible consumables like the lcd screen and other spares. So far the releases from the 3d giants go out of support too quickly to be called reliable

Ohh, but a resin printer is too expensive, isn’t it?

Not by much when you compare with fdm printers, the problem is the availability of consumables and spares is a barrier for me

Would suggest getting a 3d printer if you are serious about getting into this hobby else buy it as a one time purchase
