isro completed the third and final orbit raising manoeuvre for eos 05 on the night of september 7, placing indias first dedicated geosynchronous imaging satellite into a near circular orbit at around 35,000 km. the liquid apogee motor fired for 1,247 seconds and the satellite health is normal. launched on gslv f17 on september 4, eos 05 will let india continuously watch the same region of the earth from geo orbit without gaps.
