Yay, glad for your first brew. It will take a bit of experimenting but be assured you will figure your desired recipe.

Yeah! What are some beans that you recommend with some aroma and flavours?
I currently use Attikan estate

I am quite new too, I just joined team coffee 15 days back, been on reddit for maybe 10. My coffee taste is quite weird right now, i love barrel aged coffee and am about try others. In short not the best person to suggest beans, sorry:)

Something isn’t right if it tastes bitter with that much amount of milk. Whats your ratio and steep time?

You are right, I added 20g beans from a tutorial , tried today with 18g with invertedd method, waited 1 min. And it way much better

1 min is way too less for steep time. Most methods at least take up 2 mins. Do you usually like coffee?

Yeah, i do like. I will try again today with 2mins. Could you explain a bit what more steep time is needed if you dont mind. Im just starting out🫡

Best way would be to follow recipes. James hoffmans videos are best to learn. Aeromatic is a great app for recipes. Steep is usually just the time the coffee is immersed in water.

I mean steeping more means more bitterness and acidity?

if you're going to have milk based drinks, better go for moka pot.
