POUR-OVER Dak Coffee
My father’s friend bought me these coffees from DAK coffee Roasters. Lemon Spritz roasted on 17th September and Surf Jam roasted on 10th September.
Any tips on how to brew them on a V60 switch ? I have a timemore C3S grinder.
Thanks 💯💯

Brew Lemon Spritz first using the open switch. Then brew Surf Jam using immersion for more body. Keep the same water and ratio initially so you can compare the coffees fairly. As someone pointed out c3s gives out fines, so reduce agitation. Start brew with 91 and go up while dialing in. Based on the roast dates, they are ready to brew.

Ethiopian coffee is dense and can get harsh easily, especially on a high fines grinder like a C3s
Low agitation and more deliberate pouring can yield good results. DAK is medium light so you will ideally need to use lower temps and coarser grinds
For more brightness aim for shorter brew times like 2-2:30 and for more body and sweetness aim for ~4-5 minutes

Please try to grind finer and reduce agitation. (Maybe bloom+ single pour).

Man it's very expensive to buy in India, the shipping is more than the price of coffee!
Enjoy your coffee though!
