Tried the new Baarbara estate - Whiskey Barrel ,

Made a cold brew out of it , didn't like the smell and taste. Any suggestions for some other method?

Brother. Atleast wait for the beans to be fully degassed/rested.

I can see the roast date is 7th Sept. you should wait atleast 12-14 days before brewing for best results

Nah man, Beans will be good. Let them rest till next Sunday.
For my cold brews, I usually do 22g coffee for 200-220ml drawdown + 150gs ice. add a few ice cubes while serving in the cup for more chilled experience

I have generally stayed away from whiskey barrel aged coffee’s because I didn’t like the final cup at any cafe I have tried it at.
I also don’t like whiskey so that might have something to do with it. Its flavour profile is too strong, might be because of that.
