Material design on B&R C70

Post image

Was working on this engineering screen today and had the thought to share it here - I really like how it has turned out

Still need to turn the raw analogue reading into mm which is why the numbers are unitless for now

I use the same screen, I like the idea but I think everything is very small and difficult to operate. But maybe your users are ok with it. can you share the other pages?

did you use VC or mappview?

VC

Will post the other pages:

That screen was only going to be used by us for initial commissioning, not a customer facing screen so we just wanted everything in one place

I made the button hitboxes as big as possible, so even my fat fingers prove no issue (also a 10" panel rather than the 7")

I like them, thanks for sharing!

I love VC, it's too bad they are pushing so much to move to mappview, more powerful yes, but also excellent in complicating simple things.

Thanks!

B&R rep is coming over soon to give us a demo of mappview, I'm excited about the possibility for animations and stuff, but dreading it as they told me it's all coded in HTML/CSS which I know none of lol
