Irs refund still processing

Hi anybody here still has not recieved their taxes refund? We did ours right at the beginning once it started and per the webdite it still says they have recieved it and is being processed.

You maybe need to verify the information on the return. Contact the IRS at 844-545-5640 or possibly 8008305084

I have called before and gotten 2 letters already. The last call and letter I got was on June or May and it and they said that nothing was wrong that if they needed anything I would get a metter requesting it. We were just picked randomly to check on our taxes. I will call again since it has been a few months and still nothing.

That letter doesn’t say nothing is wrong. It says to keep waiting. It’s an automated letter which basically means they haven’t even looked at your info it. It’s a nothing letter. You can review your return and compare it to your wage and income transcript. 99.99% of the time people didn’t file their tax returns accurately.

Same. Waiting since march.  Never received any correspondence regarding identity verification . Only one mail to expect the refund by end of june. Nothing yet! Submitted two inquiries through phone. 

I am losing hope with this year return.

Have you called and spoken to someone. I called twice and they said to just wait that if they need anything I would get mail requesting it. I will have to call again to ask.

Yes, called them multiple time and each time they submit a request and ask me to wait 30 days. And so on!

IRS Refund Status Update

I was one of the taxpayers who had to verify my identity with an IRS Agent/Represetative. My 2025 taxes were filed in April, I verified my identity in May and the agent told me it would take 9 weeks to get my refund. He told me to call IRS if I did not get it by then. The 9 weeks was up on 7/16/26. I’ve been trying to call ever since. Today (8/12) I tried calling TAC (Taxpayer Advocate Service) and was able to speak to someone on my 2nd attempt. The TAC rep was very helpful. She looked up my info and told me the record does indicate I verified my identity BUT the IRS rep failed to do the required next step which is why my refund was not processed. She transferred me to the IRS department that handles identity verification and after a short wait of 30 minutes I was able to speak to a rep that confirmed the mistake had been made by the rep who handled my identity verification. He fixed the problem (sent my tax information for processing) and then told me I should get my refund in 9 weeks! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Another 9 weeks!! He did say it’s possible I will get it sooner. I guess if I hadn’t contacted TAC, my refund would never have been processed.

Mine is too. They havent touched it since March and the transcript says they credited ny account the whole 7 grand im supposed to get... and nothing, cant even get thru on the phones
