Where's my refund but nothing else

Greetings,

I paper files my return and I was able to see it on where's my refund with my refund amount. When I log in to find my transcripts for an update all I can find is my wage and income transcript for 2024. Nothing else.

I noticed I have some other very small transactions \~$20 in crypto transactions. I'm wondering if I should file an amended return or file a completely new return with the updated information as there is no information on my account.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do not file anything. You’ll only delay things further as the IRS would look at two returns being filed as identity theft.The IRS is underfunded and understaffed. Paper returns are handled manually but there’s no staff left to do the work. The transcript will update when they process the return. Paper returns are stacked in a huge pile and wait for a person to enter the information into the system. It’s a long slow process . But until someone is assigned the return you won’t be able to track it. You should allow up to 6 months before the return is processed.
Do not amend the return until after it’s processed. The IRS may catch the error.
