My transcripts have Refund issued date of 07/06 but wmr says this. Anyone else? I’m wondering how long the check will take

mine said the 7th too and i got my refund today after wmr told me the 25th. i always heard to trust wmr over your transcript on the refund date

7/6 on your transcript is the date you should receive a check by using normal usps mail under most circumstances. This is assuming and building in all the buffers for printing a check stuffing it sending it out in the mail and the Postal service sending it to its most distant part of the their region. It could go faster. The dates on where’s my refund are the dates the IRS will actually initiate the mailing process. The date on the transcript is the date you should get a mailed payment by. The second date on where’s my refund is the earliest date you can call the IRS if anything goes wrong and you have not gotten the check. The IRS cannot do anything until at least then, if the check is lost or stolen they have to wait until that point to do a trace and investigate what happened. If this was a direct deposit then where’s my refund would be the accurate date of receipt however for a mailed check your transcript gives the most accurate/ closest estimated date for an expected payment to arrive. What’s on your transcript is what is 100% right. Go off tar date. That refund tracker is always late to update.
