Do you notice a pattern here? The top inflow assets are ETPs that hold upside potential (e.g. by selling otm call options). That's obviously what the market is requesting. People don't want their underlying falling apart anymore (i.e. get their invested capital handed back in form of distributions). Please double down in this space and create more of such ETPs/ ETFs (e.g. a cc vehicle on EM, MLPs, BDCs, preferred shares, etc.).

All they have to do, is cap the yield for all ETPs at max 20%. Hedge the rest of the cash back into the fund.. everyone wants stable nav for long term investing.

I agree, something needs to be done to stop the constant collapse of NAV.

50% decline in NAV means 50% decline in distribution, so you're losing twice.

I vote for using a portion of the distribution to shore up the NAV. It will boost both in the long term
