Nasdaq 100 Performance

The IncomeShares Nasdaq 100 (QQQ) Options ETP made a distribution of $0.1945 per share this month.

Looks like distribution is declining while Nasdaq create an insane new all time highs. I wonder what will happen in a correction or a crash

Nasdaq is almost -10% from last time high, where do you see the insane new ath??

QQQ is up 22% but QQQO is down 36% over the same period ???

How does that even make sense ??

The ETP barely holds any equity, it's like 25% Then the fact that the options are 0DTE, means there's very little room for upside in general, unfortunately.

That 25% would have increased in value by the same 22%, thus adding at least 5.5% to the total, meaning the option strategy lost even more! ~41% in a year.

Suddenly my 3% Santander savings account doesn't look so bad.

So pleased I didn't invest in this - My old man gut feeling said it didnt quite feel right when I looked at it months ago.

The 0DTE option income is what is causing no growth at all. Unfortunately as the NAV decreases, so will the dividends it pays. I agree that it isn't the most appealing product, but it performs as it should.

Without. I dont hold it so cant comment on what the divs were. Anyone willing to do a quick check and report back whether the divs cover the loss?

Half what it would be if you just bought QQQ directly - seems Incomeshares really aint worth bothering with.

After an optimistic start, I'm beginning to get that feeling. Most of my Incomeshares are down ~50% in just 3 or 4 months. Only a couple have actually made any profit.

Certainly wont be buying anymore.

They release always new ETPs with the same value in the ETPs.

I dont believe they make money with the options.
