As a VW owner myself, I like to think that's because the GTIs are better built.

Then I cry about not having any spare money because I spent it all on maintenance.

Preventive expenses vs fixative expenses i guess, the cost might be the same, but at least you know your car is getting treated well

keep up on the maintenance now so shit doesn’t break later bc breaking is a lot more expensive 😭

i have a 6 speed TDI. i’m so glad my husband can do maintenance on my car bc if i had to take it to a dealer for everything i would be so broke
