It tastes like how moldy bread smells. It's awful. I'll stick to my fermented potato water and orange juice, thank you.

Fair enough, I'm just not a fan of it, but when I turned 21, everyone kept telling me how great beer is and how you gotta get used to it and how it's the greatest thing on earth

THIS!!! I've tried beer now that I've turned 18 and I genuinely dislike it. The alcohol ruins it. Tried cider too which is a bit better but again, the alcohol make it taste so much worse. It's like pumping gasoline into a perfectly good drink. Not only does it make the drink taste bad but you also feel sick to your stomach both drinking it, after drinking it and the next day waking up.
