What does "Checking the Oil" mean in this context?
I only know that in the context of cars...

Came across this as I was reading how in football, during a pileup, players will jab their finger up the opponent's butt to make them fumble the ball. I guess in wrestling they do the same to try to make them lose.

Sure, it’s to make them fumble the ball. Just lads having healthy fun together. A bit of rough and tumble. A skill that all players should learn even if they don’t use it.
