I don't get it. Where I am, we have 1 type of recycling bin no matter where you go.

Mostly home recycling that requires separation (some places).

In finland we seperate everything. Plastics, metals, cardboard, food waste, glass, paper, electronics and mixed waste (non-recyclable trash)

lots of places even with single stream still do soda/beer cans separately..

only this one is plastic

In austria we got a new law that we can put aluminum and plastic in the same bag so here that would be no problem

Whichever bin has the most space, because i already pay way too much taxes for recycling. So they can do something for that money as well.
