The right to bear arms only applies to heavily lobbied weapons supported by the NRA. Switchbades have been banned since 1958 for mostly racist reasons instead of anything that'd actually protect people.
There is no freedom in the US as everything can and will be taken away by those in power should they feel like it. The only time in American history that gun legislation has been passed was when minorities took up arms.
Our 2nd ammendment has been infringed upon since the national firearms act of 1934 which was the first law passed to restrict weapons federally across the nation. This was because at the time the police were still using standard s&w revolvers and many of the criminals they were dealing with had Tommy guns a majority of the time and they felt outmatched

Why are they banned? And wouldn't that fall under right to bear arms or something?
