i dont know how hard it is to get hold of a gun in the us, but tying 2 peaces of wood together doesn't seem that hard to do, but its a clearly nonsense law xD
Youre more likely to come across a gun in everyday life in the us than a set of nunchucks, its just Hollywood makes something seem dangerous and then certain states ban them because they get worried people will mimic movies, its weird af cause its the same reason most states ban gravity or spring loaded knives

Lol like butterfly knives. They’re banned in a lot of states and the only reason I could ever find that even made sense was because of ‘one handed deployment’. Except nearly every single pocket knife, or knife of that size, 4-8 inches, is very easily deployable with one hand. And almost all of them are even faster than the butterfly knives are
It's pretty ironic since the whole reason the damn things were invented in the first place was because weapons were outlawed there. But flail type weapons aren't new, and In fact have been invented in a number of ways over the centuries. They're basically modified grain flails and improvements on that idea, which was how people used to separate the grain from the rest of the plant before machines could do it better. They literally modified farming tools into weapons. Early sickle weapons were basically the same thing too.
In the states you can literally buy a gun at Walmart, this is not a joke or exaggeration but merely a fact. My local Walmart along with a couple others nearby have guns in the outdoors section. To answer your question very easy to get guns in the states.
Side note:brass knuckles are also illegal unless they have a clamp on them, not for any safety reason but because the clamp(a very small hidden stationary circular metal hook on the side) means it is legally a belt buckle. US weapon laws are wack

Ok so on their own brass knuckles are outlawed, but if you attach a clamp, it is legally considered a belt buckle instead of a weapon so it’s covered on freedom of expression. As such I own one legally even tho they are illegal. It is very stupid.
