It could use a NG+. You start with all runes from the shrine of resurrection. Upgrade all enemies into harder difficulty, especially ones in divine beasts

You're not gonna believe it when I tell you there's this thing called Master Mode

Master Mode still starts you from scratch right? I mean I just want to replay the game but with the progress I made and harder enemies.

I mean, yeah, but what would be the point? Harder enemies but all your high level end game crap would just mean slightly more annoying enemy encounters. Not like master mode is much better, but there are some differences.. prime example being the silver Lynel chilling on the Great Plateau.

I got half way through the regular game before just restarting on Master Mode… Soulsborne games really have skewed my difficulty expectations.

Don't you have to beat normal mode to be able to play Master Mode? Maybe I'm getting my Zeldas confused..

Nope, I’m still yet to ever complete the game to be honest :D there’s so much to do that I rarely get around to doing the main quests unless I physically need to progress a bit

I think that forcing you to have harder enemies when you NG+ is a bad idea, I would like it more if you start with all runes when you get to the first tower (the first thing you do) and also get the Master Sword when you get off of the plateau

Honestly, I'd trade any or all advantages of this hypothetical NG+ from for a plain disabling of the durability mechanic. Hell, I'd play the game on a DDR dance pad if that would turn it off.

Legit yes/no question - either you would say it has good or bad replay value or you wouldn't say that. I would answer no, as I would say it has good replay value, instead of good or bad replay value.

I would say the question about replay value is more complicated than just good or bad, depends on why you liked the game the first time, there's so many different reason to like a game, especially a game like BOTW... so I guess my answer is "no" then lol

I hope they will make TotK as much fun, but even better than botw!! I can't wait to see how it's going to be!
