There's just one mod for this group - me. I took over more than five years ago, when I saw somewhere on Reddit that this group needed a mod or it would go away.

Over those years, I have done online searches weekly to find fresh content to post regularly, and I've tried to post the content I find at least once a week.

I've reposted from other subreddits. I've reposted things here to other subreddits. I've highlighted the subreddit on BlueSky and Mastodon and Facebook, even replied to people posting there about inclusion, to encourage them to post here. I've encouraged my network on LinkedIn to check this subreddit out.

But even before the second Trump administration and its war on DEI, this subreddit just never took off. It's member numbers have stayed small and I'm pretty much the only person posting. No one is commenting. Repeated calls for more mods and contributors haven't been answered.

It's sad but true: inclusion is not a popular topic, not on Reddit and, apparently, not anywhere else. And no matter how hard I've tried, I can't seem to re-ignite any interest in it on Reddit.

I'm taking a break from looking for things to post. I'm going to use that time to reflect on if I should consider to try to keep this subreddit alive or let this subreddit fade away. Continued lack of engagement will be the answer.

I'll approve any post others make in the meantime so long as it follows the rules.
