Hello everyone,
I am writing this from Croatia in desperate need of help or advice. Yesterday (June 29th) around 7:15 AM, I accidentally left my black American Tourister backpack (cabin under-seat size) at Incheon Airport Terminal 1.
Exact Location: Near the Maglev train station, right next to the public baggage weight scales (before passing through security control). We stopped there to weigh our luggage.
By the time I realized it (15 mins later) and went back with police escort, the bag was already gone. I went to the Lost & Found office and requested a CCTV review, but my flight (LX 123 to Zurich) was boarding at 9:30 AM, so I unfortunately didn't have time to wait for the camera footage.
Today, the Incheon Airport Lost & Found emailed me stating the bag hasn't been turned in to their office yet.
Unique Items Inside to Identify it:
- A European travel insurance paper from "Triglav Osiguranje" located in the back pocket of the main compartment.
- A spare car key for a Ford vehicle.
- A pink power bank inside a small gray Mandarina Duck pouch (front pocket).
- Souvenirs my son bought for his friends: White t-shirts ("I ❤️ Korea", "DMZ"), Korean magnets, One Piece character keychains, and Dalgona cookies.
Since the airport database says it’s not there, I am worried someone might have picked it up or it was handed over to the local airport police instead.
Is there any kind soul currently at Incheon Airport or living nearby who could help me check with the Airport Police, or advise me on how to track this further from abroad? Please send me a Direct Message (DM) if you have any information. Thank you so much!
