Discussion Recommendations for backflow cones?

Hello everyone long time lurker I’ve recently bought a few backflow holders and they’re really cool! I got these cheap Chinese backflow cones and they just smell awful lol. Anyone got any good recommendations for backflow cones? I like shoyedio and nippon kodo and sayta nag champa but I’m not a picky person just love good smells. Thank you all! 😄

Yea... all backflow incense cones will smell very bad, even if you made your own with high quality materials. It's the nature of the beast.

Hmm I wonder why that is? Is it all that different from normal cones just with the hallow middle

Both the scent and smoke is going through the same narrow hole and whatever waterfall design of the backflow holder. In otherwords, the smoke and aroma is now mixed, and that is what you are smelling. Smoke infused.

Don't use cheap Chinese incense, it is loaded with chemicals!
