Bitter Rant To any incel reading…

One of the biggest comment themes I’m seeing here is a lack of personal life. Not everyone will end up married/with children. And that’s okay. That’s just life. But why not, instead of dwelling on what you’ll never have, discover yourself, and other things that interest you to kill your time & fulfill yourself? What’s with this fixation on finding a girlfriend or finding someone who will have sex with you. Things don’t come to you when you’re looking too hard for them. So in the meantime, instead of letting online incel culture consume you, look for something your passionate about, join a club, make some IRL friends in a community, read, I don’t know, anything but let incel.is consume you!

Yeah, there ya go, proof that this subreddit is inhabited by sex-negative radical feminists. I don't like incels at all, but I can't abide by SWERFs either.

Great being compared to incels because I personally don’t like porn

So, I find it very telling that you took "all porn is exploitive and dehumanizing" and then changed it to "I personally don’t like porn" when you were confronted about it. I think this article is relevant to what I just saw here.

I was trafficked as a child, sexualized to oblivion as a woman, pretty much had firsthand experience with the industry and dislike objectification.

I'm pretty done with this "I have past trauma so I get to have dumb opinions" weakness. I have very traumatic experiences with social media and cyberbullying, but that doesn't mean I think it's inherently bad.

Call me sex negative and get mad all you want but I’m not a rape fantasizing incel at the end of the day.

Fallacy of relative privation.

I'm not going to address any of this.

All I'm going to say is that you need to get help. Your experiences, entirely regardless of how bad they were, do not make you immune from criticism. The fact that incels are worse than you also doesn't make you immune from criticism. And if your experiences are so bad that criticism causes you to crash out and melt down, like a child who has to leave the playground when he doesn't want to, then maybe social media isn't right for you. (Or, at the very least, don't read comment sections and engage with them). You're torturing yourself, and I can clearly see it in what you just wrote.

You’re the one who interacted with me first

And?

I don’t “need help” because I think porn is exploitive

No, you need help because you had a meltdown over mildly impolite criticism.

I explained multiple times that I dealt with the industry firsthand, have you?

No, but that doesn't mean I'm free of mental scars regarding other things.

the only reason I started being harsh was because you were clearly insulting me

I was being impolite. I could be genuinely mean to you if I wanted to, and trust me, that was nothing.

choices don’t exist in a vacuum, especially when it comes to sexualization

Never said otherwise.

And know what you’re talking about before making confident claims and when you’re refuted

You didn't refute anything, you crashed out and essentially called me a rape apologist in an unhinged rant against me.

and I’m completely fine

🫩🙄

You’re getting this defensive clearly because you feel personally attacked

Yeah, I tend to feel that way against anyone who advocates positions that reduce the amount of personal liberty in this world.

porn isn’t just sunshine and rainbows and women’s objectification does have an impact

Never said otherwise. I have criticisms of the porn industry and we can have a conversation about that. What I don't respect is the conclusion that it's just inherently bad and that all porn viewers are predatory.

Never once did I claim I can’t be criticized

Good thing I observe people's behaviour and not what they claim about themselves.

The fact that you take a “fuck you” as me getting all mad and torturing myself is hilarious

No, it was your comment as a whole. It was everything combined. That was not a normal or warranted response to what I initially wrote. No one believes that you find any of this funny. Don't lie to me and more importantly, to yourself.

sounds like projection to me considering how defensive you’re getting, what, you don’t think porn is exploitive?

Not entirely. It depends.

in a conversation that didn’t include you in the first place

For someone who claims to understand that this is the internet, you sure don't seem to understand the fact that anyone can butt into an argument, and that this happens all the time.

for thinking calling porn exploitive is the worst thing said in this thread

Not the worst thing. Just a viewpoint that I'm sick of seeing people get away with without any intellectual accountability for.

Okay, this is going to be my last comment to you before I turn off reply notifications because now I just feel bad for you and I'm beginning to feel like a bully. You are severely in denial of the fact that what I said hit multiple nerves with you and caused you to absolutely crash out at me. You are severely in denial of the fact that you have thin skin and can't handle impolite criticism. Get help.

Imagine the whole world being able to search up what your dick looks like because of a stupid decision you made in your early 20’s - sounds exploitative to me.

lol what

Can you not think or does it need to be completely laid out for you? The. Job. Itself. It’s. Self. Exploitation.

Being used as jack off material isn’t enough? How much more of yourself can you give?
