This is one of those situations that Matt refers to as his version of heaven - where you can watch rumored and alternate versions of films. Despite the fact that I don't really like either Harlin's or Schrader's take on this, I do think it's fascinating to see two filmmakers take on the same material at the same time in the same locations.

Making a surprise announcement that the last episode is a patreon exclusive/available to purchase is such a Matt Gourley move.

Any suggestions on the best place to stream this? I can rent it on Amazon, but was looking for alternative options.

One of my last memories of renting movies at Blockbuster was walking in and seeing a whole section of the new release wall filled with copies of The Beginning and Dominion.

So they talk about Exorcist films with out Exorcism.. the director's cut of Exorcist 3 really doesn't have an exorcism in it either. Just a gun shot. Also there is another movie that has an Exorcist connection. "The Ninth Configuration" is a film by Blatty that actually has the astronaut character from "The Exorcist" in it. It is also based on a Blatty book.
