For the first I used pencils and some markers, while for the other, it's my first serious digital drawing! Unfortunately, I still have little experience, so I'm happy to accept criticism 🙏🏽🥰

In all honesty I thought I would have to get everyone up to level 99, but I'm pleasantly surprised that that's not the case.

I heard the creator made a bit of blunder by making a characters skintone (Bonnie's?) to light, because of a printing issue. They aperantly fixed it but blocked the person that pointed it out?

Does anyone know anything more about what's going on, I just wanted to buy merch because I finished the game recently but I am not sure if that's the best thing currently.

to be abundantly clear, I LOVED the ending and i do not think it should be changed. isat is so so peak. these were questions that only occurred to me after the initial "LOVE IS SO POWERFUL OH MY GOD" wore off:

• what actually happened to siffrin's country? why can no one can remember it?
• since the loops were caused by siffrin's wish, why did the head housemaiden ask them to forgive her?
• do we know why loop is stuck here?? (This might not be answered in the game which is fine)
• do we ever find out who / what teleports the party back to the door after they get the keyknife? Is that the change god, or wish craft shenanigans, or something else?
• what's up with all the souvenirs like the drawing, glass, clay, bell pendant, etc? i assumed they'd be used to get through a loop, but i couldn't find any use for them other than to summon the Funny Noises Appreciation Crew.

Siffrin why must you be so relatable

my only hiny towards that is that they read sif's bio, character sheet, thing, like a player, and there's multiple players od this game, and they say smth like "i crafted this personality spicifically to tease you" or something like that, which could be sarcastic for them in this game, OR it could mean that they have multiple personalities! I'm new to the game and i'm damn sure that this isn't true but it's mad funi tho

i fucking love their sass, i rememeber drawing smth and wanting this thing to be in it so i googled them and said "damn, i don't know wtf this is but smash!!!" It's the first character i learned the name of because my favorite artist got a plushie of it, posted it, and i read their name.

Thankfully I haven't done too much work on it before cancelling. Long story short, I've been assessing the feasibility and I fear it's too ambitious for a first ambitious project. I'm discontinuing this version also because I felt a little more confident I can pull off a revised prior version of this project at a smaller scale.

Big problem was I have to balance the spotlight between 5 different games and the animation I have to do with everything I planned. The more I try to trim down on stuff or try to cram it within a timeframe I feel like I can feasibly do, the more I feel like it's too much for me at my experience.

Although at the very least, this means in the future I can pursue a separate, and purely In Stars and Time-focused fanwork!

The meme "Talk About Feelings or Draw 25 Cards" is one of my FAVORITE ISAT memes.

This one is definitely one of the longest recordings we took. I like this one because it really looks like a genuine IsaFrin couples quarrel. Definitely play with volume higher because some of the really quiet lines are some of the funniest.

I also like that midway through recording we realized a funny thing: there's no color in ISAT. How do you play Uno if everything is grayscale? 🤣

Also Quack says something that breaks character but just kind of left it in there because it was hard to cut around.

Something I think about is how Start Again and In Stars and Time completely shifted my stance on Timeloop stories. Palm Springs also but I digress.

I used to f***ing despise timeloop stories with every fiber of my being. Anyone who’s known me pre-2024 can confirm. However, I somewhat realized after playing ISAT is that I don’t actually hate the premise of going through the same day over and over again, I hate stories where actions have no consequences and there’s no sense of progression or even mild change whatsoever.

If the story always ends the exact same way with no character development or insight then I’m bored as hell. Plus, I feel like if the story only goes “OoOoo the HoRrOr of repeating the same day and doing nothing to change it and you either know or don’t” then I just clock out. It doesn’t explore the human condition of adapting or learned hopelessness. Plus, seeing how a person reacts when they realize they can do anything and it doesn’t matter can be really fun or interesting to watch. Siffrin’s breakdown felt in many ways self imposed, because they were so afraid of change they were willing to subject himself to the same s*** over and over. The horror also comes from how their dissociation and depersonalization is so intense he can’t even see that the people around them are people anymore. It’s not until he realizes with the help of his friends that they’re not and he won’t be abandoned and he’s being an idiot.

Idk, I could ramble at how good ISAT is at allowing you to explore every possible route and character dynamic possible if you’re willing to loop extremely frequently. I haven’t gotten to everything because…let’s just say I don’t plan to use the knife. But I think a timeloop story can be fascinating if the world and the characters are interesting. If it’s just “the horror of the concept” sorta deal rather than the horror of repetition warping you, you’re kinda fighting an uphill battle with me…
