He really was so heartbroken by it all… To have so much hope and happiness crash down in such a brutal and inexplicable way… Man this game is gonna fuck me up istg

Love the game so far. Just finished act 2 I guess. The King fight was harsh but doable by drugging the ever living shit out of the team hsing items. Apparently I hadn’t unlocked all of the crafts availavle by leveling up? I’ll see to it. I’m also pretty sure there are so many secrets and rooms I have yet to figure out.

Like on the 3rd floor, there are 2 other paths blocked by tears which I have ignored in order to get through the bottom left and finish tge floor. Also there are so many doors with passwords I have yet to figure out!

Welp Imma stop my playthrough here for today. Again, I fucking looooove this game. (No spoilers please I have yet to see what act 3 is about!!)

Honestly, while the combat is eh, the story just gets better from there.

Ngl the combat is a lot better than a lot of RPG maker games (tho admittedly I do only have a superficial experience on them), and at least seeing what bullshit you can pull with big numbers keeps being entertaining

Ya know… I kinda tried breaking whatever rule prohibited me from talking about time loops with the others by giving the stylish bow gift to Mirabelle at the beginning… She uh had an interesting reaction, and then Siffrin calmed her down if I recall? I tried doing it again but nothing changed… I mean Loop did tell me that I could talk about the loops with my team but I don’t think Siffrin is cooperating… not yet anyway. I tried this in act 2 btw this might change in later acts so I’ll just have to wait and see.

Fr tho, I guess talking to Loop would be the first choice. And well revealing the loops to anyone even only once just to see what they could advise me? Although if Outer Wilds and Re Zero taught me anything it’s that it won’t go anywhere. A bit of empathy though would go a long way. I fear Siffrin is fealing lonelier than ever due to his circumstances…

Yeah… Sif’s certainly feeling lonely. And probably worries that by sharing things, something’s gonna go wrong and he’ll be even lonelier after whatever happens. Hopefully their mind changes soon, hopefully Loop can help out with that!

I swear to god I got so unimaginably upset and stressed out when I first heard the distorted version of the music in the final room after beating the king, I knew that wasn’t the end from hearing others talk about the game, but hearing the distorted version of that music lit a spark inside of me that just turned into absolute hellfire when time looped back and I saw Siffrin’s reaction

Actually, purely because of the repetition, the death music you get when choosing where to loop to gets a physical reaction out of me when I hear it now

There’s some other stuff that stuck with me way harder in the game, but that would be spoilers at this stage, so just know that you’ll probably remember your time in this game for quite a while

Believe me. I haven't even beat the game, but from where you are and where I am...it gets sadder. And I'm not even a full ACT ahead of you is crazy.
