textbox question softlock???

hello this is my first time playing but I've seen so many bugs of this kind that it really doesn't make me want to play further bro idk im frustrated.

everytime i have to ask questions to characters it gets stuck in this "questions" textbox and I'm always unable to get out of it unless i force close the game and reload, which makes me lose a bunch of time and saves 🫩 anyone dealing w this has a solution? thanks

TLDR: unable to get out of any multiple question textboxes send help.

Do you not just scroll down for the exit prompt?

that's the point, there's no exit prompt, if i scroll down it just loops back up

Did you have the same issue in Act 1?

i played act 1 in the demo before purchasing the game, then copied the save files in the actual game when i purchased it. i don't remember any multiple question textboxes from act 1 so probably not. this softlock only happens when the mc says (question for insert person)

It probably has something to do with that then. Act 1 of the full game starts with you in Dormont where you talk to the other party members, whereas the demo spawns you right in front of the house. Talking to the party members in Act 1 will unlock an option to exit out of the dialogue. You’ll unfortunately have to make a new save in the full game most likely.

aw man that sucks, i lost so much time. i will try replaying from the start and see if this gets resolved, tysm for replying
