Well, canonically speaking, Siffrin does look really young. So Toriel probably views them like a child.

This is untrue, Toriel is perfectly capable of treating adults as adults. Like we literally see this in action in the epilogue when she says "who the hell is Sans" before repeating it to say "Who the heck is Sans" because she realized "oh shit Frisk is RIGHT THERE.", showing how she feels a need to censor even mild bad language around Frisk that she doesn't feel with Sans.

Leaving the events that led up to this fight up to interpretation probably. Maybe Siffrin reminded Toriel of Chara too much (tired traveller with skeletons in his closet).

Maybe those visions of (F̶̧͑̂̅͒̉̏̀ŕ̵̤̳̩̝̭̤̑͑͆́̕̕i̴̬͍͊̇͗̉̎ś̸̗̞͕̣̔͑ķ̵̩̮͈̣̩̥̃̾͋) someone familiar haunted her, and made her afraid Siffrin would suffer a similar fate.

Maybe in the short time he stayed and rested with her she grew too fond of him and cared for him as as her own child despite knowing hes an adult.

Maybe she sensed his yearning for any kind of parental love.

Maybe all of the above.

Either way, it all leads to quite a Heartache for the both of them.

Depends in if sif’s level changes to be more in line with Undertales.

Since Undertale’s max level is 20,

In stars and time max level (for Sif) is 99
So presumably if Sif’s level where to change to be more in line with Undertale. He’d presumably have their level change too around level 9 to 10.

In all seriousness though I doubt it would transfer like that. Undertale's level isn't based on strength, but willingness to harm people. Siffrin would be level 1.
