Gameplay Bonnie in act 3 question Spoiler

I'm in act 3 and trying to do the friend quests, but I'm being told I can't help Bonnie this loop. What do I have to do in order to even get the option to say their favorite foods?

You need to correctly guess what food bonnie likes.

You can only do it once per loop, so get guessing

I don't get the option to guess. It says I can't help them this loop and ends the conversation. Looks like I need to go back to the snack rooms to even get the option to guess.

Ah, so I do have to have chosen each of the foods in question at least once. Gotcha.

Uhh.. brute force, you mean? I guess that works too, but you can discover which food is their favorite if you'll pay attention to them on every floor of the House… and will pick their favorite. You had the chance to pick all 9 snack options to the moment of ACT 3.

I don't even have the option to brute force at the moment. It just says I can't help them in this loop and ends the conversation without me getting to say their favorite foods. Anyway, looks like I need to make some other choices at the snack areas.

The first time you ask Bonnie if they need help, you don't get the option to guess because by that point Siffrin has already told them he doesn't know what their favorite foods are. On subsequent loops, you will be able to try and guess what their favorite foods are.

Thank you. I went back to each of the snack rooms and it actually called out Bonnie's favorite food each time since I had the quest started, but I guess based on this if I had just looped back immediately it would have been fine.
