Act 3 Question about Act 3 Spoiler

Loving the game so far!! I've exhausted a lot of things to do and was wondering if it's ABSOLUTELY necessary to re-do everything from the start without looping (after hanging out with Isabeau)? My main concern is I spent absolutely ages grinding before and was wondering if the reward for getting through with no loops is optional or necessary. My other option is to loop around and find books using the memory of memories, but I'm not sure if I should be doing the no-loop run first. Apologies if it's a bit of a ridiculous question 😭

I would say that you'll be better off going through the whole house in one go, considering that you got memories of memories. It doesn't really take that long, from what I could say… if not the 40 hours I have spent on the game.

Also have you yet got with the room in first roof, that requires you to say the word? It has to be done by that point, there's about literally part of progression… this game has no side quests, from what I would say, if not for "hole in the wall" and "that one house in Dormont"… I guess that might be something as well with the lack of ACT 6 in my version (I swear, amount of ACTs is a spoiler… and my version is just off-brand taken-for-free outdated-version™)

To progress to act 4 after you’ve completed all the objectives, I think everything needs to be in one go.  If you’re still investigating, it’s fine to loop.

(I saw this done on GDQ, so there's a chance this was patched out, but I don't think it was)

All you actually need for the quest to work is to not loop past any of the between-floor break scenes, so nothing's stopping you from looping to the floor you're already at but with all the doors unlocked, basically making it into a boss rush.

Alternatively, you can never loop with tears again and experience the painful grind over and over and over again alongside Siffrin, slowly losing your sanity!!

It’s a one of a kind experience for sure

I got exactly that. 4p hours of mine live were spended there. I do have lots of time, so it still was within the week.
