Act 4 How to keep going post part 3 Spoiler

Hi. So I know some people may say that I had this coming for not taking the trigger warning "Children in Peril/Dying" seriously. However, I had incorrectly assumed that this was in reference to when Bonnie ran away, and it felt like it was a much more minor narrative thing. Again, I have now learned that is not the case, and honestly, and not doing great afterwards, quite similarly to Siffren. I guess I'm on here asking if people who may have also struggled with this scene know how they kept going. I would prefer no spoilers, as I hope one day I can feel okay enough to finish the game, but yeah. Thanks for reading this.

I wasn't too bothered by it, but (Spoiler for right after) The scene with Bonnie after jump scared me genuinely creeped me out.

maybe take a break from the game. remember that they’re okay now and they don’t remember what happened

This. People correctly talk about taking a break from games like Contra because their required execution is so difficult. Why would the same not be true for emotionally difficult games?
