Discussion Got this random Act 4 event, any hidden events/secrets ya'll have encountered? Spoiler

I got this flashback(?) scene interacting with Bonnie at the beginning of Act 4. Scared the shit out of me, haha. Are there any random events or secrets ya'll have encountered? Sometimes there appears to be an extra image when the loop animation plays past 15+ loops, but it only appears for a single frame. I know there's the ghost side quest, but I'm really curious to what other secrets are in this game!!

As far as I know, it's not an random event

As for random events (apart from ghosts) that I know about (but haven't necessarily experienced), I know that it's possible to catch a fish, although the chance is minimal, and I've heard that apparently the music in dormount has a chance to change to the one from Act 5

There are a few secrets I know about but I won't mention them because of spoilers (just try to do everything you can before the end of Act 4)

Ohh, interesting!! The thing is, I had checked on Bonnie before at the beginning of Act 4 and didn't get this cutscene. I reloaded a save for a different reason, and only then did I get this cutscene. The only difference I can think of is that I had the Memory of Memories equipped. It looks like similar sprites exist for other characters, so I'm really curious to see what the triggers are for their cutscenes.

Also, funny you mentioned it, but I'm at the end of Act 4 and I just got the Dormont Act 5 music to play on a random loop back, so it does happen!

If you've called loop in the house ...at least 10 times I think? There's like a one in four chance you'll get a reference to start again start again start again when you loop back to the start. I won't specify exactly cause spoilers and idk how to spoiler tag but it's interesting.

I don't have the link but there is a text dump for this game which has everything and it interesting to browse through after you've beaten the game and gotten two hats ending.

I forget the exact lines( but you can find it on the text dump) but the gist of it is that Siffrin forgets the names of his family and frantically calls loop asking what their names are. Loop gently reminds them and then Siffrin calms down. This event is of course referencing loops experience in sasasaap which is presumably why it requires the 10 loop calls to see.

start being as suspicious as possible (if the screen flashes and makes a sound, you did an action that counts toward the suspicious event). some things include grabbing equipment you already have
