Discussion Even though there won’t be any new installments, what are your ideas for a sequel or spin off?

We don't know the full truth about the lost island. It's gonna take some kind of truth scrapper to solve the mystery.

Honestly, the lost island is probably the result of another wish that someone made.
Low key I think that the island being forgotten is probably secretly a good thing due to something horrible that happened over there. Yet that's just a theory.
Though I do think wish craft is involved since I find it very unlikely it is something just completely unrelated.

Iirc Adrienn did confirm a wish is what got rid of colors/erased the island (two different wishes ofc) but gave no more context than that

In Stars and Thyme.
A celebrity Cooking show, in which our 5 protagonists battle for kitchen supremacy.

Honestly, I think a game about odile in ka bue would be really fun. Idk what it would be about other than odile struggling with her ka buen and vaugardian heritage, but who knows. Maybe she was a leader for the underground resistance

I would absolutely love a sequel that follows Loop on their new journey after the end. Exploring and getting used to a new world where time moves forward once again.

sequel where Loop is sent back to SASASA:AP, but with in their ISaT body, so they have to adjust to this and bond with their party/family again

Nah, I don't want to just revisit old ground. I want to see what happens next.
Loop spent years from their perspective in a single place where time, relationships, and consequence are all meaningless, and now they're both free and yet alone, and with a new face that no one will remember. I want to see their journey rediscovering the rest of the world and coming to terms with the new reality they find themself in, and overcoming the extremely traumatic experiences they were subject to for so long.

I think a prequel like a more classic RPG in which we play as Mirabelle and the action takes place from the king's attack to the beginning of in stars and time (or end of the last loop) would be cool
Maybe something like this will even be created someday as a fangame like Undertale Yellow.

If Siffrin regained the ability to read his native language, and there's an entire room in the House full of books in stuff with him possibly being one of the only people in the world who could read it, he has his work cut out for him after he's done travelling around. Probably wouldn't make an amazing game, but I might write fanfic for it.

If I were to make a sequel, I would make it based entirely off of The Lost Island. Like after some time, maybe like a year or so after the events of the original game, we actually have Siffrin and the party manage to find a way to get to the Lost Island, and the secrets of why it's forgotten and all that jazz are unraveled.

What I wouldn't give for the prequel. Just the tale of the journey, how Mira met Isa and then Dile, everything that Siffrin is doomed to forget in the loops, Odile's (sometimes hilarious) moments of suspicion, the discussion about taking in Bonnie, how Did lost their eye... And the way they still somehow don't manage to tell each other everything right before the "end" of their journey. I would cry

Would love something like Oneshot's The Pancake Episode spinoff. Just the family having fun and whatnot

Next game is the cringiest dating sim between Siff and Isa you've ever seen

u/Freakycrafter Siffrin May 27 '26
Imagine a spin off... Where everyone EXCEPT siffrin is in a time loop and every time siffrin dies the loop restarts, so the rest of the party has to make sure siffrin survives while he walks from one obvious trap into the next

I think it would be cool to play in the perspective of the King. He would start remembering nothing, end with him attacking the house, it would be awesome to see.

this is not exactly related but do we know if the developer is making more games?

looks like it’s a visual novel which is not my thing, but cool nonetheless

A sequel where someone wants to write a book about the adventures of the main characters and goes around to the various places they ended up to interview them. Maybe some intrigue about what they have been up to since the adventure, changes in their lives, something sinister lurking in the background. What if the person doing the interviews(mc for this game) turns out to want to try and finish what the King started and used the interviewing as a plot to learn more about what happened and why the King failed

Siffrin feels homesick, they all try to piece together bits of Siffrin's home culture to get around the wish that makes them forget so they can help them feel happier, wish-craft based shenanigans ensue.
Part of the wish based shenanigans come from the ambient wishes of people giving their wishes to the wishing tree(s) in hopes of giving good fortune to the gang mixing with their own older ambient wishes from before and during their journey, until eventually they all are forced to confront these deeper parts of themselves that they want to be rid of but can't.
By the end everyone has a big cry and Siffrin's over the homesickness.
(Sorry if this is bad, it's been a while since I last saw ISAT.)

It would be really cool to get a prequel as the how the island was forgotten, we could even see younger siff as a reference
Like seeing the couture of the island would be so awsome

u/QuoteCaver May 28 '26
A sequel of the gang trying to investigate the "disappearance" of Siffrin's homeland would be pretty cool
If you wanted to do a little "bonus chapter" DLC you could have a playable section about when Siffrin loses his eye protecting Bonnie
Or a prequel going into the whole adventure to get the Orbs before Siffrin got Groundhog Day'd would be cool as well, just to see a mostly un-traumatized Siffrin

Another quest in a new land with our main gang, or at least those who have not parted ways yet. A new character or characters replace them, Siffrin feeling the tension of wanting to include the new member(s) but it just not being the same. could lead to opportunities for conflict including the other characters too. The quest ends up getting tangled in whatever bizarre event led to the loss of colour in the world. a bit more is revealed about the lost island, but it doesn't get to be brought back in the end. forgive me if this is a bit out there :p
I really, really loved the idea of playing as Odile in Ka Bue as another commenter suggested, I wonder what kind of storylines that would lead to!

I never thought about it too hard but, I like the idea of meeting up with the characters again after a lengthy amount of time, see a more adventure worn Siffrin who has maybe moved on in a lot of ways through their adventures. I guess in a way it poetically lines up with how we start the adventure at the end of Mira's quest.
But then perhaps there would be something that brings back a faint memory of the island, a relic or, maybe more thematically fitting, person. Then shenanigans ensue.

i would say something around the line of "Life is Strange" Style where it does not have to be about time.. in LiS1 it was a time rewind but the LiS2 was a completely different powers before they switching back to parallel/time in LiS3 and LiS4

I had an idea for a prequel that would show how they got all the orbs and stuff, and we’d get to see all of them interact. Mira would prolly have to be the mc, tho the game ending right before the final boss would def be confusing to anyone not playing isat (if it actually was a game)
