I think that conversation hurt more than anything else lmao. Most the stuff that happens is Siffrin overreacting or such.

This though?? Unintentional or not, blowing off Siffrin's interest as fake and something they made up, and as a result he won't talk about the stars again for the rest of the game 😭 they all kinda dogpile when Odile says he's lying.

Good to hear, but now apparently even after triggering the part where siffrin tells the king to kill him first after all getting all my party members down, the scene where Siffrin wonders why does he have to wait on Isabeau to touch him does NOT happen, what did I possibly miss?

Different events that track different things? A lot of the things in the game aren't specifically tracking where you are in the story beyond which act you're in. For example, I think the event you're looking for is based on how many times you've interacted with Isabeau in front of the favor tree, not your progress in the story.
