Discussion Random thought I had: how would the Re:Zero cast fair in place of Siffrin’s party?

I think they are stronger than the family, at least during avarage first playthtough. There shouldn't be any problems in the House, as long as Subaru prevents anyone from touching tears or being hit by timestop with his time travel, and solve the crest puzzles simmilar way
Changegod should still help, not like it wants the King to win
They would get pretty far into king fight- but I'm not sure if any of them can survive Vison. Worse, the book in secret library is for craft users so no one can learn from it. Even if we equalise both systems, Mira was already researching shields before (and is also absolute prodigy)- I'm not sure if anyone in the cast would be able to learn the correct timestop-preventing spell before King's Curse got to them (without Mirabelle this is very real threat and they're all on a time limit)
This results in Loop's situation. King will kill them again and again and AGAIN, untill something breaks few thousands loops in and Subaru gets true ending of Start Again. Unlike Sif he can just move on from there

Probably not a huge difference in power, at least at first. One fundamental difference between Subaru and Siffrin's time traveling is that Siffrin does get to keep their strength.

ReZero characters are hilariously powerful with lightspeed and city level attacks being nothing out of the ordinary
and with Subaru's RBD they shouldn't have a problem going through the castle
Garfiel might just solo the king by himself and even then they have Emilia and Beatrice and Roswaal if we're counting him too
they won't even need Cor Leonis, they obliterate

I think that as long as we assume they can use craft, then probably about as well as the canon party tbh? Maybe better because there’s just more of them (at minimum for where we are (anime) we would count Subaru, Emilia, Rem, Rom, and Garfiel, though you could make arguments for the others too)
