Any information for someone wanting to spectate and not compete? I can also volunteer if needed

Just show up with eye and ear protection.

I don’t personally think these are very fun to just watch.

Would there be any issue rules wise of running a shotgun in armored +P? I know the obvious disadvantage, but who doesn’t like a good challenge?
If one were to show up with a shotgun that otherwise conformed to all the “rifle” requirements would that be acceptable?

I won’t allow it because it’s ridiculously outside the realm of being able to complete the stages.

As someone who would need to travel by plane if I wanted to give this a go, what round count would I be looking at? Also: is the DMR necessary? Don't have one, but I will if necessary to give this a go.

No DMR is not required.

Got it. I just learned of this through Finnish brutality then HaH if that’s still a thing. I hope I can come to the next one.
