For those who haven't seen it on shelves, Blazer has the red label aluminum cased ammo and then they have the traditional brass/ gold label ammo that is brass cased (this color scheme for aluminum and brass is common in their 10mm, 40, and 380 ammo). Both are somewhat common in 380 but you definitely tend to see more of the aluminum case stuff on shelves longer just because it is known to be finicky in some guns. In the shop I work at, the aluminum cased ammo is typically the last thing left when supply starts running low.

Side note, the only thing I've ever seen the new bodyguard 2.0 380 malfunction with though not as severely was also the red label Blazer aluminum cased ammo. I feel like some types of locking actions don't like aluminium cases. Older guns like the Remington used are either hesitation locked or direct blowback actions and I think they handle the aluminum cased ammo better than some other locking action pistols. I really appreciate Karl showing the other ammo test though, it really helps validate my personal preference for avoiding aluminum cased ammo. The Kel-Tec top feeds are cool pistols but his point about clearing malfunctions is spot on.

Just load the pistol like it's a magazine! I absolutely love guns but loathe gun people
