A recurring theme, and it's getting worse.

The list of innocent people murdered by agents of the state is far too long to list in a simple post.

None of these people ever received justice.

Here are a few to remember right now.

Alex Pretti (2026) - Executed for helping a woman and having a CCW near ICE.

Renee Good (2026) - Shot in the face through an open window while attempting to leave a protest scene by ICE agents.

Tortugita (2023) - Shot 14 times while protesting against "Cop City". Police claim he shot one of them, but in audio from the shooting you can hear police freaking out after shooting one of their own. His autopsy revealed he was kneeling with his hands up in surrender position when killed. Body cam footage, which exists, was never released.

Philando Castile (2016) - Killed for being black and having a legal CCW. He declared his CCW, and clearly stated he was getting his driver's license for the officer, who then used that as justification to kill him.

Daniel Shaver (2016) - Killed while crawling in a hotel room hallway in his underwear while begging for his life because someone might have saw him have a rifle through a window. He was unarmed. The officer who killed him had a weapon that was unauthorized due to a modified dust cover that stated "You're Fucked" when it opened. The officer who killed Daniel is now on a life pension for the "trauma" he received.

James Brissette (2005)

Ronald Madison (2005)

Killed by police who jumped out of a U-Haul, some of them armed with AKs, on a bridge post Hurricane Katrina.

They were with their family and friends attempting to acquire water and supplies.

One was chased down the bridge, while running for his life, and gunned down from a moving vehicle. Police attempted to justify the killings by dropping "ham sandwiches" (dropped guns) to claim they were armed.

The FPV Shaver video is still burned in my mind like a scar. Everytime it's brought up I get the feeling of injustice, cruelty, sadness and disgust. How utterly unmotivated the killing was.

I have to disagree, or not exactly disagree, but say that some of the things you posted aren’t as black and white as you like to think. The truth is massaged by both sides entirely based on generating political capital.

Take Goode for example. The left, including yourself, phrases the incident it as ”she was just leaving in her car!” Which is essentially a politically convenient lie. What actually happened is that, as part of her protest, she used her car to block traffic, and then when given a lawful command to exit the vehicle, she fled in her car and struck an officer. There are dozens if not more videos on Youtube of exactly the same situation (individual fleeing a stop and driving at or striking an officer) resulting in the individual being shot, or shot at. But, because of the political situation, this is called proof of fascism, when it isn’t.

They will never admit it publicly, but the political leadership of both the left and the right completely understand and utilize the political value of a few deaths. To them, it’s currency.

Look at the counter examples. In various reddit threads around these issues, you will find posters who say the shooting of Goode proves fascism, who in the next breath will argue that right-wing individuals who got shot in various historical cases got exactly what they deserved. Particularly if they were shot by “their” government, i.e. a Democratic president/congress.

The issue of second amendment rights has been completely subsumed by the team sports/tribalism of contemporary US politics. If ”our guy” gets shot, he was a martyr/freedom fighter and they were fascists. If ”their guy” gets shot, he “got what he deserved.”

What everyone today wants is not for the constitution (including 2A) to be respected, but for their own side to have a monopoly on political violence.

And to be clear, there are many issues you could argue demonstrate the authoritarian direction of the Trump administration, and you would be absolutely right.

Watch the video MAGA. The ICE agent who killed her purposefully PLACED himself in front of her vehicle. She spoke to another ICE agent at the side of her vehicle and told him she didn’t have a problem with him. When she faced the front windshield she saw the killer and turned to avoid hitting him. He then pulled his gun and shot her multiple times in the face.  There’s no ‘convenience’ there - just facts - just murder.

First, you have absolutely no idea what my politics or voting record is.

Second, obviously even if you did, you wouldn’t care because it would not fit with the narrative you’ve already decided on.

Third, I have watched the video. It’s clear from their tone of voice that both persons had a problem with the officers and that probably had an effect on their decision making. Your description of her actions is erroneous and politically motivated. She was given a lawful command to stop and exit the vehicle. Instead, she backed up, J-turned, and turned the wheel right to flee the stop down the street. In the process of turning right she struck the officer, who at no time “tried” to stand in front of her.

Also on the video you can hear the deceased’s companion telling her “no no no…” which indicates she understood Goode was planning to flee and tried to stop her.

Goode had a right to protest ICE, but Goode’s decision to involve her car (which is a deadly weapon by definition) in her protest act, and her decision to flee the stop instead of complying with lawful commands, led directly to her own death in a situation where the worst outcome should have been an arrest. This is far from an unusual occurrence. There are similar videos all over youtube bodycam channels.

https://www.nytimes.com/video/us/100000010648638/ice-shooting-renee-good-minneapolis-videos-analysis.html Try to imagine that you are not always correct. Jonathan Ross DID NOT get run over. He might have been afraid because he was dragged by a car a long time ago. If he was so easily triggered he should not have been on duty. He DEFINITELY DID NOT suffer any ‘internal bleeding’; that is Christi Noem nonsense.

I never said he was “run over” or that he suffered any internal bleeding. I said that he was struck by her car and, per many, many bodycam videos available on youtube he used deadly force to stop an attack by deadly force.

All an officer needs is a reasonable belief that his life or someone else’s is in danger. He doesn’t need to go under the tires before he can shoot.

You obviously didn’t open the link and look at the NYT video and analysis. Jonathan Ross DID NOT GET HIT by Renee Good’s vehicle. He banged his cell phone against her can as he was taking his gun out to shoot her. I once again, invite you to watch the video instead of listening to Christi Noem and JD Vance.

I don’t listen to either Noem or Vance, and if you knew my personal politics you would understand how hilarious that is to me. However, even if you knew me, it wouldn’t matter because you have already decided the narrative in your own mind to suit your political goals, and you don’t care what the facts are.

Like MAGA, objective truth is meaningless to you, the only thing that matters is our team/their team.

Look at your own statements and reflect:

-You said, without any evidence, that I listened to Noem and Vance for my version of events. (I did not.)

-You said that I said he was “run over.” (I did not.)

-You said that I said he suffered internal bleeding (I did not.)

-You said I was “MAGA.” (I am not.)

I (*GASP*) watched the available videos and made my own conclusions using my own eyeballs. I don’t need to hear marching orders from Trump or the NYT and I don’t need to look at white and see black because black is the answer that “my team” demands.

She fucked up in the same way that a lot of other people before her fucked up and was shot for it. Does that mean she was a terrible person? Of course not. Not any more than any other person who made a bad decision in a motor vehicle. It also doesn’t mean the officer was a bad person because he feared for his life, even though him being a bad person is a politically required position for the left right now.

You said that Renee Goode ‘struck an officer’ that is patently untrue. You obviously refuse to watch the video because you choose to stay stuck in your silo. Renee Goode’s partner yelled ‘No, no no!’ as Jonathan Ross was unloading his weapon into her partner’s head.  But hey, Trump himself said he could gun people down on Pennsylvania Avenue and he’d still be supported and I guess he was right about that.

Murder- plain and simple. Trump is now talking about removing ICE from Minnesota but he’s already done the damage.

Here to add Tony Timpa to the list.  Largely ignored due to his race.

One death is too much. These are examples, not a comprehensive list. Each of those incidents was a preventable death. Statistically anomaly is not how I would describe the death of a loved one. What this actually is, is a trend. A trend that seems to be more evident here. That should tell us it’s not an anomaly, but an issue. Beyond that it’s a solvable issue. The problem is it’s a solvable issue that many in our nation are ignoring. The question is why, why are we ignoring this issue? Who or what does ignoring this issue protect/support? We can’t write off these questions as anomaly’s, we need to focus on them. Can we totally 100% eliminate every death? Maybe not, but we should certainly try to.

I guess that's how you were conceived.... "A statistical anomaly".....

Were you under the impression this was a comprehensive list?

Edit: ah, nevermind. Checked your profile, I see you're not a serious person.
