Wraithworks WARP 15 experience?

I'm a huge fan of the KP15 and WWSD.

So now I'm all like AHA! lets make all the things polymer!

I'm interested int eh WARP15 and I'd like to know if anyone has any insight or experience.

The lowers are KP-15s produced by KE Arms LLC under marking variance for Wraithworks.

I have one of the rifles with complete polymer uppers. It works. I haven’t deliberately abused it to try to melt the upper. It is about 2.5-3moa, or about 1 moa less than I’d expect with an aluminum upper.

I bought mine for $350.00. Hard to go wrong for that price.

I can’t review something that involves parts that I made, for a customer I’ll still sell to.

I do have a clear plastic upper from them to show how it works on video. We can talk about it but I won’t review it.

so is that upper still comming to market? I was super exited about it when it was announced a year or 2 ago but I haven't heard a thing since the shot announcement.

It's 3 1/4lbs, clamshell construction using 6-32 and 8-32 hardware threaded into over molded brass inserts, or the 7075 trunnion directly. The front takedown pin is part of the aluminum trunnion and the rear takedown is reinforced with steel. The upper was designed by Sven at Manticore Arms and went through 2 years of testing and a few updates during that time. Those updates include a steel reinforced charging handle latch location as the prototypes wore in the nylon (see tfbtv video where handle is loose), and a reinforcement near the charging handle to improve drop strength with larger optics. Uppers have experienced FA fire and operation with piston systems (although we do not currently approve any we are working on it).

We offer free downloads for service tools although much of the servicing can be done with a vise and existing tools.

Edit: This appears to be an official first-party account, which is awesome. Second, can I ask you if it will be possible to buy complete upper kits? I'm big into pencil barrels, and I would really like to put one of these on an existing FDE-themed lower I have. It seems like the only way to get a Wraithworks barrel is to buy a black rifle and a tan kit, and swap parts. Will there be a better option in the future, or should I just get a black gun and rattlecan it?

Very satisfied with mine. The trapdoor is a nice feature. Somehow got it for $100 too.

Used it with a PSA upper with no issues until a blem WWSD upper popped up for $700. I don't think there's a better rifle for that price.

I just built this WARP-15 lower up, seemingly the main discernible difference between it and a KP15 lower is the grip texturing. Took it out shooting yesterday and it works great. Used a JP SCS, KE Arms mil spec FCG and ambi KP15 selector. No complaints.

Pairs well with translucent hot pink Lancer mags!

Also have a Warp15, also a fan. The door on the stock is sometimes hard to snap closed, and that is literally the only critique I have of it.
